This privacy policy governs your use of the software application PhotoWash App (“Application”) for mobile devices that was created by London App Works LTD. The Application is providing users with capability to examine their photo album and identify images of interest (“NSFW” images) and also perform actions, such as collecting these images into a separate album or mark them as deleted.
What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?
User Provided Information
For purposes of app analytics and app operation improvement, we might require users to provide anonymised, aggregate analytics about total number of images processed and total number of images identified as NSFW images. This is required so we can analyse the effectiveness of Machine Learning model and improve upon it.
Upon installing the application user will be requested to provide access to their photo album. The app uses access to identify whether a user of the application has any images that are classified by the app as NSFW. The images are processed using a Machine Learning model trained to identify nudity and adult content. This processing takes place on the iOS device of the user. The images being processed are never uploaded to any online service or third-party. All processing is solely local and does not require internet connection.
Automatically Collected Information
The Application may collect information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile devices capabilities, version, the IP address of your device, operating system, the kind of Internet browsers you use, and information about the way you use the Application.
Does the Application upload any images into the cloud or third parties?
This Application does not upload images, fully or partially, to any online service or provider or any third-party. Machine Learning processing is happening on device, thanks to the microchip capabilities built into user’s device. Internet connection is not required for the application to work.
Do third parties see and have access to information obtained by the Application?
Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to help us improve the Application and our service. We will share your information with third parties just in the ways that we describe in this privacy statement.
We may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:
as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process;
when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
with our trusted services providers who work on our behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them and have agreed to adhere to the rules outlined in this privacy statement.
If London App Works LTD is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice on our Web site. If any change in ownership or uses of this information occurs, as well as any choices you may have regarding this information we will make sure to notify you.
Customer Support Related Information
Should you make a choice to contact London App Works LTD customer support then the following information you provide might be retained on our customer support system in order to assist with your query: your name, email address and/or phone number, version of the app, any app screenshots or additional information you send us. These will be stored in our customer care system for reasonable time in order to help and resolve the issue you are contacting us about. Should you wish to remove them please contract support@londonappworks.co.uk quoting support ticket number. Please bear in mind that we will be unable to process any further support requests for the app, as removal of your contact details from our support system will automatically block any further requests with the same contact details. Should you wish to contact the support again please do so by using an alternative channel or a different email.
What are my opt-out rights?
You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network. You can also request to opt-out via in-app support chat, if available.
Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information
We will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time after that. We will maintain Automatically Collected information for up to 24 months and after that may store it in aggregate. If you’d like us to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application, please contact us via in-app chat or at support@londonappworks.co.uk, and we will respond in a reasonable time. Please note that some or all of the User Provided Data may be required for the Application to function correctly.
Children
We do not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us at support@londonappworks.co.uk. We will delete such information from our files within a reasonable time.
Security
We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the information we process and maintain. For example, we limit access to this information to authorised employees and contractors who need to know that information to operate, develop or improve our Application. Please be aware that, although we endeavour to provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy here and informing you via email or text message. By using the Application, you are consenting to our processing of your information as outlined in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us. If you reside outside the United States, your information will be transferred, processed and stored there under United States privacy standards.
